Showroom by F.F.C.
These Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter the "Terms") are intended to define the terms of access to and use of the Showroom by F.F.C. offered by the Fédération Française de la Chaussure (French Footwear Federation, hereinafter "F.F.C.").
Any request for access and any use of the Showroom implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms.
1. Purpose of the Service
The Showroom by F.F.C. is an online platform reserved for professionals allowing the consultation of products and content presented by companies in the footwear sector.
The Showroom has an exclusively informative and networking purpose.
No orders, sales or product transactions are carried out via the platform.
2. Access to the Showroom – Account Creation
Request for access to the Showroom by F.F.C.
Access to the Showroom by F.F.C. requires opening an account with F.F.C.
- Opening an account is free.
- Opening an account is reserved for Professionals.
- Opening an account is subject to F.F.C. validation, which reserves the right not to accept a request to open an account without having to justify the reasons for its decision.
- After receiving the account opening request, F.F.C. has a period of 15 days to validate or refuse the account opening.
The user undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when requesting registration and to keep it up to date throughout the duration of use of the service.
Login credentials are strictly personal and confidential. The user is solely responsible for their use.
3. Role of F.F.C.
F.F.C. provides a digital space allowing the presentation of products and expertise by professionals in the sector.
F.F.C. does not act as a seller, buyer, or commercial intermediary in any business relationships that may arise between professionals via the platform.
F.F.C. exercises no control over:
- the actual availability of the products presented,
- their compliance,
- the commercial conditions possibly offered outside the platform.
4. Liability
F.F.C. cannot be held responsible for:
- information, content or visuals published by companies present on the Showroom,
- relationships, negotiations or contracts possibly concluded between professionals outside the platform,
- any indirect damage such as loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity or damage to reputation.
5. Processing of Personal Data
F.F.C. processes the personal data of the natural person who is the Professional's contact (the "Data Subject") for the following purposes:
- opening and managing the account,
- managing access to the Showroom and exchanges via the platform,
- unless objected to, sending information, newsletters and professional communications from F.F.C. and/or companies present on the Showroom.
The required data is indicated as such in the forms. Failing to provide it, F.F.C. will not be able to process the access request or ensure the operation of the account.
This processing is based on the execution of the contract binding the Professional to F.F.C. and, where applicable, on the legitimate interest of F.F.C. and partner companies to communicate with registered professionals.
The data is kept throughout the duration of account activity, then archived for legal proof purposes for the strictly necessary period, and regarding prospecting operations, for three years from the last contact.
The data is intended for authorized F.F.C. personnel as well as its possible technical subcontractors.
Some professional profile information may be made accessible to companies present on the Showroom as part of networking.
F.F.C. implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security.

The Data Subject has the right to access, rectify, erase, transfer, object to and limit processing, under the conditions provided by applicable regulations. They may also define directives relating to the fate of their data after their death.
These rights may be exercised by email or by mail, specifying surname, first name, postal address and purpose of the request. In case of reasonable doubt about the identity of the requester, proof of identity may be requested.
In case of difficulty, the Data Subject may file a complaint with CNIL.
6. Termination of Service – Account Closure
The Professional may at any time request the deletion of their account, which results in immediate termination of their access to the Showroom by F.F.C.
F.F.C. reserves the right, at any time and without having to justify the reasons for its decision, to suspend or terminate access to the Showroom, particularly in case of non-compliance with these Terms.
7. Modification of Terms
The Terms may be modified at any time at the initiative of F.F.C.
In case of modification, the new version will be applicable after a period of one (1) month following notification to the Professional by any means.
During this period, the Professional may delete their account. Otherwise, the new Terms will be deemed accepted.
8. Applicable Law – Competent Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law.
In case of dispute relating to their interpretation or execution, express jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts within the jurisdiction of F.F.C.'s registered office.
